Category 6A, with a bandwidth of 500 MHz, is used for 100 Mbps, 1000 Mbps and 10 Gigabit/s Ethernet networks, with a maximum length of 100 meters. These datanetworks are, besides Ethernet, also suitable for many other protocolls, like analog telephony, ISDN, ATM, Token Ring and RS-232 up to a distance of 100 meters max.
In addition to our standard molded U / UTP patch cords, we now also have a snagless molded version, which protects the RJ-45 connector latch from tearing off. It also facilitates decoupling of the connector.
